Nat Meade, born in 1975 in Greenfield, Massachusetts and raised in Portland, Oregon, is a Brooklyn-based painter and educator. His artwork explores the complex emotions of life stages, reflecting his journey through adulthood, marriage, and parenthood, while intertwining personal introspection with societal norms. He holds a BFA from the University of Oregon and an MFA from Pratt Institute. Meade's work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions in the U.S. and internationally, receiving critical acclaim in publications like Artforum and The Boston Globe. He has participated in notable programs, including the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture and the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program.
