Marc Quinn

Marc Quinn expands the boundaries of sculpture through unconventional materials. Gaining prominence in the 1990s as part of the Young British Artists collective, he is known for works made from frozen flowers, human DNA slides, and his own frozen blood in self-portraits. Quinn addresses challenging themes, notably representing disabled and transgender individuals. He studied art history at the University of Cambridge and has exhibited in major cities worldwide, with pieces in prestigious collections like the Tate, Centre Pompidou, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
